Serapid Inc. has introduced the PSH C-clamp to its line of quick die change clamps. The clamp is designed to work with dies with a flat edge. When mounted on a T-profiled base, the clamp forms a bracket device, which then is manually inserted into a slot on the bolster or slide.

In automated die changes, the clamp head alone can be mounted permanently on the press. The clamp is hydraulically actived and opened with a spring. The clamping height can be individually configured through the height of the base peice or using a custom-sized spacer.

The clamp is available in sizes from 20 to 100 kN.
